온라인 광고 비용을 바탕으로 소셜네트워크의 가치를 평가한 결과입니다. 2008년의 수치와 비교한 부분도 있네요. Facebook은 2008년에 비해 급격히 성장하여 1위를 차지한데 반해, MySpace는 2008년보다 퇴보하여 2위로 내려왔습니다. Cyworld가 11위에 랭크된 점이 인상적이네요.



Kim Cameron - Microsoft: Information Cards in Industry Verticals

Microsoft의 Kim Cameron이 EIC에서 만난 James McGovern과의 대화입니다. Information Card가 활성화되기 위한 방안을 논의했습니다.

우선 수많은 IDP가 존재할 경우, whitelist가 아닌 방식으로 IDP의 신뢰여부를 판별하는 방법을 논의했습니다. IDP의 토큰을 다른 임의의 RP에 사용할 수 있게 만드는 super-IDP를 사용하는 방안, RP가 요구사항을 명시한대로 IDP 토큰을 획득하는 방안 등이 있습니다.

He goes on to examine the challenge of figuring out what identityproofing process has actually been used by an identity provider.  In apaper I collaborated on recently (I’ll be publishing it here soon) weincluded the proofing and registration processes as one element in achain of factors we called the “security presentation”.  One of thepoints James makes is that it should be easy to include an explicitstatement about the “security presentation” as one element of anyclaim-set being submitted (see Jame’s post for some good examples). Another is that the relying party should be able to include a statementof its security presentation requirements in its policy.
