일본에서 가장 큰 SNS인 Mixi가 OpenID를 전격적으로 지원하였습니다. 현재 지원하는 표준은 OpenID Authentication 2.0, Attribute Exchange 1.0, Simple Registration Extention 1.0 입니다. 2006년부터 이미 OpenID를 사용하기는 했지만, 내부에서 Mixi News라는 서비스를 제공하는 용도였다고 하네요.

Mixi가 제공하는 OpenID 인증 방식은 2종류입니다.

• My Mixi Authentication : 친구 목록에 있는 자신의 OP Identifier을 인증받음.
  
• Community Authentication : 특정 커뮤니티에 있는 멤버만이 접근할 수 있음.
  

Mixi started to offer individual OpenID as well as “My MixiAuthentication”, which is the authentication based on one’s friendlist, and “Community Authentication” through which only the member ofthat particular community in the SNS can gain access.

어떻게 된다는 건지 상상하기 어려웠는데, 다행히도 'My Mixi Authentication'에 대한 예제가 있더군요.

 Mixi 사이트에서 A라는 사용자가 B라는 친구가 있다면, B가 Mixi에 인증받기 위해 OP Identifier 입력창에 'https://id.mixi.jp/A/friend'라는 claimed id를 입력합니다. B가 자신의 id/pw로 인증받으면 assertion에는 'https://id.mixi.jp/A/friend/B'로 표현되고 B는 https://id.mixi.jp/B 라는 OP Identifier를 받게 됩니다.

For the authentication based on someone being in a friend list of him, claimed id of the form

https://id.mixi.jp/userid/friend

will be sent. Then, user will be shown the sameU/I as OP Identifier, and if s/he is in the friend list of the person with userid, then, positive assertion with claimed_id in the form of

https://id.mixi.jp/userid/firend/id_of_friend

and openid.identity of the form

https://id.mixi.jp/id_of_friend

is returned.

질문

1. Mixi의 OpenID 인증 방식이 2가지인 이유는 뭘까요? 둘다 거의 마찬가지인 것 같은데요..
2. 예제가 있긴한데  자세하지 않아서 약간 상상력을 발휘했습니다. 다른 의견이 있으시면 덧글 달아주세요.
