리버티 2.0 워크샵이 2007년 1월 22일, 캐나다의 Redwood Shores에서 열립니다. 다음과 같은 이슈를 다룬다고 합니다. 리버티 표준이나 saml은 엔터프라이즈 스케일이기 때문에 인터넷 스케일에서 사용하기에는 많은 제약이 있다고 알려져 있습니다. 그러나 워크샵에서 다루는 이슈 중에 Internet Scale이 있기 때문에 관련된 내용에 대한 조사가 필요합니다.

워크샵 제목에 2.0이라는 타이틀이 붙어서인지 ID-WSF와 People 서비스, Higgins에 대한 소개가 보입니다. 특히 Higgins와 Liberty Alliance의 연관 관계에 대해서는 추가적인 자료 수집이 필요합니다.

올해 초에 등장했던 Identity 2.0, 그리고 바로 아래 포스트에서 언급한 Who 2.0, 이 모두가 기존과는 다른 Identity Management 기술에 대해서 말하고 있습니다. Liberty Alliance는 대외적인 홍보와 활동을 거의 하지 않았지만, 2007년에는 적극적으로 프로모션을 수행할 것 같습니다. 내년에는 웹서비스, 소셜 네트워크, 그리고 사용자 중심의 ID 관리가 더욱 확산될 것으로 전망합니다.
